The CEO of leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao, has announced that the exchange intends to launch a futures trading platform while speaking at the Asia Blockchain Summit in Taipei, just few hours ago, June 2.
According to the CEO of Binance, the exchange will launch a futures trading platform with initial support for BTC/UTSDT contracts with 20x leverage. He said that the date for the launch of the Futures trading platform tagged Binance Futures, is yet to be determined. However, a simulation test version of the futures trading platform will be revealed in few weeks.
Changpeng Zhao, speaking on the benefits of Binance Futures trading platform, explained that the platform will support long and short trading contracts for various crypto assets.
Binance has just recently launched two new stablecoin trading pairs on its non-custodial trading platform, Binance DEX, which comes after the launch of native British-pegged stablecoin Binance GBPS. Binance also promised to launch more stablecoins in future.
Changpeng Zhao in another report, confirm that margin trading on Binance exchange is currently in beta testing, which will in no time be fully supported on the exchange.
